Conclusion: with the experiment things that were seen was that when the paper collided both at the same time the paper converged and replicated how mountains are formed. The second represented how when oceans and continnest collide what happens.

Conclusion: in the experiment things that have observed is that when the plate begin to seperate more and more land or in this case ocean floor is being created also creating hufe rigs.

Conclusion: in the experiment when placing potassium permaganate into a beaker and placing the beaker onto a hot plate things that were noted was that when temperature was rising things can be seen such as the colour of the potassium permaganate goes up to the surface of the liquid and circulates in circular motion. Thus proving that tectonics plate do move on convection currents.

I would allocate a C or a B because I followed most of the rubric and most of it when marking it ourselves was in the C and B range

1. Analyse why red sunsets can sometimes be more impressive when there is more dust or pollution in the air than usual.

Red sunsets can be sometime more impressive when there is more dust or pollution because the light has more material in the air which it has to reflect off but where as if there was no pollution their would be less light being reflected therefore a less impressive sunset.

1. Describe what happens inside water droplets to cause a rainbow and explain how you can tell whether a rainbow is a primary or secondary.

When it is raining and light hits a water droplet, the water droplet acts like a prism when the light enters the droplet the light is split into the colours of the rainbow then those colours are reflected out into the a rainbow in which we see. In a rainbow there is only one internal reflection. A secondary rainbow is when the light enters the water droplet, splits the light but rather than having one internal reflection their will be two and because of this colours are filled so that red will be at the bottom rather than the red being at the top. That is how we can tell is the rainbow is secondary or not.

nvestigate the two types of sight defect- long-sightedness and short sightedness.

 Long-sightedness: long-sightedness is caused by the light rather than being focused on the retina it is focused behind the retina which causes a blurry image.

Short-sightedness: Short-sightedness is caused when light is focused in front of the retina rather than being focused on the retina this will cause blurring of an image like long-sightedness.

 Close objects appear fuzzy or blurry, while distant objects remain in focus.

 Headaches or tired eyes. In young people with long sight, the eyes can still focus on near objects, for example when reading a book. But the muscles in the eye have to contract more to allow this. So you might find that you get headaches when you read, write or do other near work, and that your eyes feel tired.

a.     describe how optical fibre may be used in medical applications

Optical fibres can be used used in medical applications by making smaller and smaller cameras which are used to tkae a view inside the body without making huge incesions, this would mean that a paitents recovery time will be a lot less and the their would be a lot less scaring on the body. Also optical fibres are lot cheaper to make rather than the convetional methods of making a camera for a medical application.

b.     identify the traditional medical techniques that optical fibres might replace

One traditional medical technique that optical fibres can replace is the search of finding and removing possible breast cancer, the old technique was that the whole breast would be taken off is their was doubt, but with optical fibres the surgeons only need to make a small incesuion to find and remove the breast cancer theis would mean that recobery time would be reduced and the females physic does not change.

c.     Evaluate the benefits of fibre optic technology to medicine 

The benefits with fibre optic technology is that it is a lot cheaper to manufacture the instrument this would mean that cost of some procedures would be greatly reduced aswell. Also as I said before the recovery time of the paitent would greatly reduce as they will be able to find the problem using smaller incesions.

I was the only one who did work until I gave two strikes and the third they are out and until that happened they start working.

NO!!!. Because all of them were lazy and didn’t do work until i threated them and still they haven’t finished some of the work and one of the group members gave their work to someone elso outside the group to do the work.

3. How much effort did you put into this project?  What could you have done better?

I put effort but not as much I’d like to also what I could have done better is that i should have used the pacing chart and project planner to organise my work.

NO, because we didn’t spend much time on it and couldn’t make it attractive and the best it can be.

The project was wasy because all we had to do was was get pictures change it and give a caption.

The project was easy as said before it was pasting picuters with words at the bottom.

We had to make our own image of jesus, because we had the opprtunity to give our opinion of jesus
