Reflection

Second life is an interesting but sometimes boring project as we don’t do much all we do is trying to get ourselves out of glitches. The aspect I liked about second life is that it is a fun way to learn and use programs such as Photoshop or how build things in the cyber world this kind of project can help us understand how say for examples games are made. Another thing I liked about second life is that we can personalise our avatars which means that no two avatars look the same unless you want them to. Another good thing about second life is that we can become rich by selling stuff and it’s has an atmosphere of realism as we can be business men in selling strange and new products. a good thing about second life is that we are able to chat to students around the world like Japan . The one thing I had trouble with second life is that when we are making our own shirts it’s really quite annoying as we have to do all these colouring, importing pictures and also the fact in second life we have to pay money to upload things which is quite annoying as we have to wait for the teacher to give us money.

Another problem that I have with second life is that we have to constantly make things to make money which at the start is quite fun but after a while it’s quite boring. Another problem that I find with second life is that we can’t do much except build stuff. Another trouble I ran into with second life is that it keeps freezing at school and at home so most of the time I’m just waiting for second life to reboot again, this time consuming and annoying.

Watch the following clips on the Dalia Lama:

1.) Give a brief description of who the Dalai Lama is? (Include resources to support)
The Dalai Lama is considered to be a “God” in the buddhist religion. The Dalai Lama is also considered to be a reincarnation of the 13th Dalai Lama. The Dala Lama is the leader and most enlightned person in the buddhist culuture.

2.) Evaluate how the actions of the Dalai Lama in regard to the riots in Tibet would be regarded as exemplary moral integrity.

The actions of the Dalai Lama in regards to the riots in Tibet would be regarded as exemplary moral integrity as he wishes for tibetian people to have a protest which is of a peaceful nature not of violence, he also wishes that people would not go on violent  rampages rather to talk with leaders and negotiate of the independence of Tibet. This is seen as exeplary moral intergrity as the Dalai Lama is open and not afriad to tell the truth and tell the people to calm down.

The purpose of using youtube as a source of digital media advertising is that youtube is something which an entire world can view at their lesiure, also many people who are a fan of a certain product and wish to see what it’s new features are e.g computer they can go on youtube to see it’s stats and also how much it costs.
